Exclusive Interview with Mike Salcedo, creator of the YouTube show “The Stockholms”

A masked man walks into a bank where he proceeds to hold a lonely employee and two children at gun point. Due to an incompetent police force, the hostage situation which evolves from this robbery lasts so long that the people inside the bank slowly turn into a makeshift family. We’ve seen it before, and yet we haven’t, and yet we have. As original as it is entertaining, The Stockholms packs more punch into its three-minute episodes than some animated sitcoms can in half an hour. Over the course of this exclusive interview, showrunner Mike Salcedo reveals what it takes to find a good premise and what comes next when you do.

Garbage Musicals Exclusive Interview: Tin Can Bros, Wisecrack, & ArcadeCloud

The new animated musical series, Garbage Musicals, is a joint effort by ArcadeCloud, who is recognized for their animation, often video-game related, on Youtube along with the sketch comedy group Tin Can Brothers and WiseCrack, the digital media brand responsible for productions such as Thug Notes and 8-Bit Philosophy. Combining their talents together, these three brands meet at the apex of musical creativity, bringing to life ideas through song that may never see the light of day otherwise. We had the chance to speak with members of each team and pick their minds about the wildly original idea, and we learned plenty of great stuff along the ride!
