‘Family Guy’ Episode Rescheduled AGAIN by FOX Due to Another act of Terrorism
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the horrendous San Bernadino mass shootings earlier this week. And as expected, any episodes of your favorite TV shows airing this weekend that feature terrorism or guns will probably be rescheduled.
In the case of Family Guy, the episode entitled “A Shot in the Dark” was supposed to air this Sunday Night @ 9 pm ET/PT on FOX. However, it looks as though due to yet another terrorist attack, the network has decided to wait an extra week to show this one that involves a couch stolen from Peter’s front lawn which prompts the guys to form a neighborhood watch group. While on patrol, Peter shoots someone climbing into Cleveland’s house and is arrested and charged with a hate crime.
This is the second time that “A Shot in the Dark” has been rescheduled after the first time around was as a result of the horrific Paris attacks last month.
In the place of “A Shot in the Dark” is an all-new episode of Family Guy entitled “Brokeback Swanson”. In it, the guys find it tough to hang with Joe after he is left a quadriplegic in an accident during a running of the bulls. Meanwhile, Brian is forced to pretend he’s a family’s new pet when the husband of the woman he’s sleeping with comes home unexpectedly.
“A Shot in the Dark” has been rescheduled to a week from this Sunday barring what seems to be an all too normal occurrence nowadays.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
