‘F is for Family’ Season Two Premiere Coming Into Focus

The writers leak details about the show’s second season.

People are still buzzing about the second season pickup of Netflix’s F is for Family, the animated comedy created by Bill Burr and now the writers are starting to drop hints of when we can expect a premiere:

We knew about the ten episodes, but now we know the show is targeting a potential Q1 2017 premiere which I think is MUCH preferred to the last time the series premiered…the same weekend as Star Wars:Force Awakens (though in fairness, I could give two shits less about Star Wars).

For those that don’t recall, F is for Family, created by Bill Burr and EmmyⓇ award-winner Michael Price (The Simpsons), follows the Murphy family in the 1970’s, a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside and bring a gun to the airport. Burr will voice the role of Frank Murphy, the family’s extreme patriarch; Laura Dern will voice Frank’s wife Sue; and Justin Long voices the family’s oldest son, Kevin. The show is executive-produced by Burr, Vince Vaughn (“Art of Conflict,” “The Break Up,” “Couples Retreat”), EmmyⓇ award-nominee Peter Billingsley (“Dinner for Five,” “Couple’s Retreat”) and showrunner Michael Price. Michael Lagnese and Victoria Vaughn, from Wild West Television, are co-executive producers on the series.
