English Dub Review: Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon “Osamu Kirin’s Apparition Conquest”

Overview:

Osamu Kirin brings the Grim Comet to the feudal era. He convinces Rion that they are both hoping for the same world and promises to make it a reality. Meanwhile, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha are stuck in the present day.

Our Take:

Can you imagine cutting your own arm off and then it finding its way back to you just to beat your ass? Up till now, I have never once felt sorry for Kirinmaru but after this one I kind of do. Osamu Kirin even has stolen his daughter. But in the end, they both seem to be bad. Just two sides of the same coin with different extremes. Nobody wants to kill ALL the demons, otherwise, we wouldn’t have Inuyasha!

Not only is there a Grim Comet but now we got to deal with a Grim Butterfly. You can tell we are nearing the end of the season because everything is going absolutely bonkers. Sesshomaru has awoken and it’s time for a showdown with Kirinmaru. Towa and the girls manage to make it back to the Feudal Era but will it be too late?
