English Dub Review: The Devil is a Part-Timer! “The Devil Preaches Human Interaction”
Overview:
Buying the Devil’s TV is more exciting than anyone expected. Unrelatedly, Maou is wiser about human relationships than anyone expected.
Our Take:
I really love when side characters get some development as well. You don’t get much more of a side character than Rika, Emi’s co-worker. She has a little bit of a crush on Ashiya and it seems like Maou is starting to pick up on that. He confronts Rika on it in a not-so-delicate way that Suzuno calls him out on.
The problem is that something is wrong with Chiho, but it seems like she has a guardian angel. I never really thought about it till this mystery character said it but Chiho is the uniting force between the hosts of heaven and the devil. There was one thing she said at the end that I couldn’t quite catch but it sounded like she said that Chiho could be the “mother of gods”? That would be disappointing as an Emi fan. There’s only one episode left so I don’t know how they’re going to wrap this season up but luckily we’re getting another one.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
