English Dub Review: Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World “The Legend of the Labyrinth City – Stepping Man?!”
Overview:
The Survivors head into the worst parts of the city to track down a mysterious kidnapper.
Our Take:
Finally, we get back to the group as a whole. It feels like it’s been so long since they last all took a task together. What was interesting about this is how it felt like they were chasing an urban legend that ended up being real. I think the characters in this have been slow to build but are starting to get there. I’ve especially come to enjoy how Tiana is not at all like what I expected her to be like, she’s out here smoking a pipe like Gandalf the Grey or something.
The only thing negative I have to say about this one is that it doesn’t really resolve the “Stepping Man” plot point so perhaps that will become a thing as we move forward. This is interesting because I would say that so far they have resolved most of their plots in one episode. The character that ended up being the “Stepping Man” wasn’t exactly a surprise but I will say that the power they demonstrated did impress me. I hope that we get to see more of that particular character moving forward and maybe some resolution on why they were kidnapping people.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
