English Dub Review: I’m Quitting Heroing “I’m Quitting Heroing”

In the end, what does it mean to be a hero?

Our Take:

Now don’t get me wrong I was under the impression Leo was going to survive somehow the whole time but after all of that what was this worth? What was accomplished? It just seems like this was an arc that didn’t need to happen. What Echidna needed she didn’t get. The biggest thing that happened was that Leo came to terms with the fact that he wanted to live. He seemed sad to die at the end so Echidna gave him one last out and took it. It seemed like a good place to end the season but we got two more episodes or OVA’s at least.

I completely understand that this created some characterization for Leo but it’s just frustrating how long it took to get there. I am more excited to see where the show would go from here but we only have two more episodes and something tells me a season two is unlikely. It was an interesting arc I just feel like it could have been cut down by a couple of episodes at the very least.
