English Dub Review: Ensemble Stars “Element~Part One~”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Wakatu swan dives off of the blimp from last week’s episode all for the chance to talk with Trickstar departed member Hokuto. It’s here we are introduced to a magic act called Switch where one of the members, Tsumugi, is tasked by Eichi to help him put together a five-member group named Five Oddballs. After a rendezvous with the other members of Switch, Tsumugi is eventually asked to join Five Oddballs who are beginning to make a name for themselves in and around the campus.
Our Take
MAGIC! No performances tonight to speak of, but I’m eagerly anticipating whatever magic acts this show has to offer. Everything else this week seemed to be a bit of a filler with a bunch of dialogue about nothing of no real interest. We get some inside scoops as to why Yumenosaki Academy is the way it is and that’s about it.
