E-Leaguers Rejoice! Overwatch and Hearthstone Shorts Have Arrived

TV producers should start to take note of these shows.

Streaming now is two new animated shorts inspired by the crazy huge e-league juggernauts known as Overwatch and Hearthstone. 

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer online first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released in May 2016 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Hearthstone, originally known as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, is a free-to-play online collectible card video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment.

Both franchises are multi-billion dollar game franchises that are featured on the e-league circuit, Hearthstone probably more so than Overwatch, and I wouldn’t be surprised if either of these shorts could, in fact, be good indications for upcoming original programming. TBS, Disney XD, local affiliates, and more jumping in on the e-league bandwagon, and content like this would make for perfect complements for live e-league coverage.
