DisneyXD ‘Crashes and Burns’ on finale airing

Usually Disney XD advertising has been a rocket to the moon,  unfortunately last night they said ‘Go with Challenger, Throttle Up!’

So, if you were like me you were setting up the finale of Crash and Bernstein with all of the right ingredients to make it a fun night…duct tape, Vaseline, and the dial turned to Disney XD @ 8:30 pm on the dot. Unfortunately, what aired was a bunch of reruns for Crash and Bernstein and Lab Rats as opposed to the long promised one-hour finale. Needless to say, chubby ignored…

Yep, it looks as though SOMEONE at Disney XD messed up and promoted the hell out of the Crash and Bernstein finale for like a while only for it not to air. I thought it was weird too, because I was checking TVGuide both in the NYC Metro AND Los Angeles markets and both indeed confirmed the listings for reruns last night but still had the episode name and title listed in their DB for ‘Crash on the Run’.

When I asked a PR rep over at Disney XD, I didn’t get a response at the time of this writing. However, hopefully we can get some clarity on the situation and here’s hoping it doesn’t damage any reps because on Twitter I know people were talking about it and like me had the sensible idea of turning on Regular Show and MAD over on Cartoon Network.
