Disney XD’s September 2016 Programming Highlights has a lot going on

Lots of “Stars” and some new and returning shows have been spotted!

Disney XD has released a VERY busy September schedule that is important for a number of reasons: 1) Star vs the Forces of Evil is back. 2) We’re getting a new sketch series called Right Now Kapow .3) Ultimate Spider-Man vs The Sinister 6 will feature Seth Green reprising his role as “Howard the Duck” and an episode featuring “Spider-Gwen” which is one of the hottest comic franchises on the shelves right now. Oh yea, less we forget the return of Star Wars Rebels JUUUUST before the month ends.

 

Saturday, September 03 Original Series – Episode Premiere
Marvel’s ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. The Sinister 6 “Return to the Spider-Verse – Part 2” (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT) Spider-Man and Miles, tracking the missing pieces of the Siege Perilous, travel to a tropical Pirate dimension, where they meet Web Beard, the Spider-Pirate. * Will Friedle (“Boy Meets World”) guest stars as Spider-Pirate and Seth Green (“Family Guy”) guest stars as Howard the Duck.

Saturday, September 10 Original Series – Episode Premiere
Marvel’s ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. The Sinister 6 “Return to the Spider-Verse – Part 3”
(8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT) Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid arrive in the Noir Universe where they have to prevent Mr. Negative from using the Siege Perilous to drain all the life and color out of the world. * Milo Ventimiglia (“Gilmore Girls”) guest stars as Spider-Man Noir. Seth Green (“Family Guy”) guest stars as Rick Jones and A-Bombardier.

Monday, September 12
Star vs. The Forces of Evil “Goblin Dogs / By the Book”
(7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EDT)
“Goblin Dogs” – Star and her friends wait in the longest food truck line ever for the universe’s best hot dog, the Goblin Dog.
* Jerry Trainor (“iCarly”) guest stars as Roy.

“By the Book” – After an argument with Star, Glssaryk goes into hiding in a donut box. While Star and Marco try to convince him to come out of hiding, Ludo plots to capture Star.

Saturday, September 17
Marvel’s ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN VS. The Sinister 6 “Return to the Spider-Verse – Part 4”
(8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT)
Spider-Man, having collected all of the shards of the Siege Perilous, returns to Miles Morales’ universe and finally confronts Wolf Spider.
* Dove Cameron (“Descendants”) guest stars as Spider-Gwen.

Monday, September 19
Star vs. The Forces of Evil “Game of Flags / Girls’ Day Out”
(7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EDT)
“Game of Flags” – Star competes in the Game of Flags at the Butterfly-Johansen family reunion against her mother’s orders.

“Girls’ Day Out” – When Star is nominated as Mayor of Detention, she must help her constituents with their various problems.

Monday, September 19
Future-Worm “The Bleak Shall Inherit the Earth / Makin’ History / Lobster Boy Movie Trailer”
(8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT)
“The Bleak Shall Inherit the Earth” – When Danny tries to prove that he is the biggest fan of the band Titanium, he and Fyootch get stuck in an alternate reality.
* Comedian Jeffrey Ross and Josh Brener (“Silicon Valley) guest star as Mr. Bleaker and Chadd Gold, respectively.

“Makin’ History” – Danny brings a lobster boy back from the past for a school project.

Right Now Kapow “Bash Master / All’s Well That Ends In A Well”

“Bash Master” – A wrestler makes a career change. A chin is large. A woman claps her hooks. A bowler doesn’t know what she’s “pin” for. An elf and a princess weigh their options.

“All’s Well That Ends In A Well” – A tricky wishing well ruins a laptop.

Wednesday, September 21
Right Now Kapow “R&B / Sphinx”

“R&B” – A singer has brown eyes. A werewolf is not a mind reader. A little girl is the worst one of all. A garbage truck puts on a show. A party is much cooler than anticipated.

“Sphinx” – A sphinx is such a drama queen.

Star Wars Rebels “Steps into Shadow”

Led by a more powerful Ezra, a rebel mission goes awry, and Kanan returns to help the Ghost crew. Grand Admiral Thrawn emerges as a new threat.

Star vs. The Forces of Evil “Sleepover / Gift of the Card”

“Sleepover” – Marco sets out to impress Jackie at Star’s slumber party, but a magical truth-telling game threatens to reveal too much for Star.

“Gift of the Card” – Marco must use a gift card before it expires with catastrophic results.
