Shadowmachine, already known for making sci-fi stalwarts like Final Space and Dallas & Robo, is currently in pre-production with Robert Orci for an animated sci-fi series adaptation of the classic arcade game known as Galaga. The 12-episode series entitled Galaga Chronicles is being shopped right now for a late 2019/2020 premiere and will focus on being more of an origin story for the game franchise.

A second season of The Jellies is currently in production right now along with the first season of Lazor Wulf, both expected to premiere on Adult Swim sometime next year.

Lazor Wulf is a quarter-hour animated pilot that follows a wolf who carries a laser on his back and believes that love has no limit, that wearing do-rags gives you power and that Gawd is a lie. It was created by Henry Bonsu and written/executive-produced by Bonsu and Daniel Weidenfeld (China, IL) with Carl Jones( Black Dynamite) also having been added as a producer.

The Jellies! is a quarter-hour animated series created by Tyler, The Creator and Lionel Boyce, that follows a family of jellyfish, including their 16-year-old human son, Cornell. When Cornell learns that he was adopted at birth, he is shocked by the news and spirals out of control as he tries to “find himself.” The result is he, his family and friends continue to end up in uncanny situations. Salty Dog Pictures is currently shopping a sci-fi adult animated series known as The Mooneys. Most of the shopping is being done in English-speaking countries in Europe, but with hopes of bringing the series to the States as well.

It’s the year 2090 and the world’s fossil fuels have run dry. The earth is plagued by war, mass migrations, and the lack of a good prime-time animated series, but all is not lost. Scientists have discovered vast amounts of Helium-3 on the Moon. This rare element is the key to a limitless power supply and world domination. Before World War III broke out, the UN came up with a solution: why not have a reality TV competition? In order to win, each country gets to have one family represent it. They must live on the moon for 24 months without: 1. Breaking the rules, 2. Quitting, 3. Going insane, and/or 4. Getting killed. Few families will last 24 months. Unfortunately for Ireland, their chances of winning begin with one miscreant family: The Mooneys.

The series comes from Cliff Parrott and you can watch the trailer below:
