Comics Review: Regular Show #18
Regular Show comics is officially legal, but you can’t get it drunk, and similar to what we said last month we think a corner has been turned in comics lore. We got to witness the continuation of Mordecai and Rigby dealing with a genie who promises to grant wishes which includes Mordy getting huge, Rigby wishing harm on Benson, and the genie being set free. Eventually, supernatural sets in as the bearer of bad news for Benson, but we’ll have to wait for next month for the finish. “Dragon Dungeons’ was kind of a stupid plot in that it revolved around the characters of Regular Show inspired by the popular game Dungeons & Dragons.
Overall, the issue kind of resurfaces some demons from comics yesteryear in that not a TON of progression is to be had here, and the second story just stunk up the place. Granted the B-story was a tad longer than most others, but that wasn’t enough to keep me in it.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
