Spoilers Below

“Childish Things”

Beth is waking up from a dream. Realizing she has a lot of work to do, she starts with cleaning up her room and doing laundry. She finds a box of old toys, and starts playing with them again. She finishes the story she was telling when she was six, where Astroman shoots Lucille out of the airlock. It’s a cute story, telling us we’re never too old to look back on our childhood and enjoy it.

“Food Court”

Catbug and Wallow are in Galaxy Grilled Cheese, so Catbug can get a new munchkin meteor meal toy. He then goes into the backstory of Detective Honeydew, where Catbug was a burglar and she was the one who caught him. They get their food, and Catbug starts telling the story of the Red Rose Rodeo. Pepper La Rue was the best one there, but switches the focus to Floppy Joe and his lucky handkerchief, which Catbug brought to him. He shows Wallow a new toy, with no backstory, and Wallow just collapses from the confusion.

“Danny Divided”

Danny decides to clone himself, putting different facets of his personality into each clone. Because Danny screwed up, there are too many of him. They find the cause of his split, and try to get all of the Dannys together. They finally get all of them together, and put all of them back together, except for one stray Danny that was hiding.

This was a different issue. It was also rather good. The shorts were actually good, and weren’t rushed. Childish Things will hit you in the feels, and Danny Divided was just funny, due to the clones driving Danny insane. Food Court was alright, it wasn’t very funny, though. Overall, this was a good issue, it just dragged in the middle.
