CBS and Dish Network nearly came to blows this past weekend
I came on Friday Night, and I was watching my local CBS news feed telling us to contact Dish and tell them we want CBS. Fortunately, the two sides came to a multi-year deal that will see CBS networks stay on Dish Network for the next several years.
But seriously, what the fuck? This comes only a few weeks after Dish had an -ish with the Turner Networks? It seems as though Dish is just acting like a bunch of assholes for TV networks, though I think this is all a credit to the effect of say Netflix and Hulu. Both are just chipping away at networks ala Ax Men to trees and I think this is the reason. A la Carte is the future, and someone’s gotta figure this shit out sooner rather than later.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
