Cartoons continue to be effective way to battle ISIS idealogy
Terrorism will never die. By definition, terrorism is a sense of ideals by a person or groups looking to inflict terror in order to prove a point. Those points are sometimes vague and usually just plain bullshit, but it happens. War, guns, and bombs can’t kill terror or socialism…that’s what multimedia is for!
We told you guys about how cartoons are fighting the ideas of ISIS in the Middle East, and now we’ve got word of a new series that is more geared towards the Western audiences. Enter, Abdullah X, a cartoon that is a British kid’s way of combating extreme Muslim ideals in hopes of persuading disillusioned kids from resorting to violence in an effort to feel worthwhile. Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
