I love seeing all of the so-called ‘major outlet’s jump on the Family Guy bandwagon one day removed from the shocking turn of events that happened last night on FOX. Too bad WE at Bubbleblabber actually called which Family Guy main character was going to die and we knew it starting one year ago that Brian was probably going to be the one to get the shaft. Check out this timeline of when we actually posted what was going down:

 November 20th, 2012

Tony Sirico is announced as new recurring character on Family Guy. We said then: ” It will be interesting to see how ‘Vinnie’ will fit in with the Griffins and if there is enough room on Spooner Street for TWO dogs.

 On July 19th, 2013

It was announced by FOX that there would be a Family Guy/Simpsons crossover event coming in 2014. Note the press release which named every character taking part in the crossover with the exception of Chris and Brian Griffin.

July 22nd, 2013

Three days later the bomb was dropped. Steve Callaghan announces someone in the Griffin household was going to die. RIGHT AWAY we again brought up the fact that neither Brian nor Chris Griffin were listed in the aforementioned press release and as such were the likeliest of suspects that were to be killed off.

November 20th, 2013

Deadline reports that all of the major voice talent on Family Guy including Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Alex Borstein, and Mike Henry, were re-upped by 20th Century FOX for the next several years to stay on the show. We deduced that this OFFICIALLY ruled out Seth Green aka ‘Chris’ as the last unnamed character in the original Simpsons/Family Guy crossover press release, ergo we had one name left…Brian Griffin.

Brian Griffin Dies

November 25th 2013

The animated world cries.
