Faking the Band

Waay back when, before Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, in order to be popular in music you had to be a group of 5 young adults dancing on stage, lip synching to music that you didn’t write, and then hope one of you had a career worth sticking around. This was the time of BOY bands. That’s right, everyone from Justin Timberlake and Mark Wahlber g fronted these terrible excuses for legit music and made millions doing so. So, it was only natural for the Simpsons to get in on the action, and after seeing some of these bands on TV, Homer goes out on an “American Idol” type talent search through Springfield, hoping to mind his golden ticket. However, as luck would have it he gets Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum, Rod Flanders, Bart Simpsons, and a guy named Roy. And like most boy bands, none of them can sing, so they just take Ralph’s voice, layer it, then release it. Then “5 from ‘Field” become the talk of the town, showing up for autograph signings, but when the band is asked to play live for he first time, they become a victim of band politics.

Kent’s State

At a banquet celebrating Kent Brockman’s successes, a video reel shows of the great achievements in Kent’s career, but the ending gets interrupted by Springfield’s favorite son!

The Man with Two Wives

Homer, Lenny, and Carl start up a game of poker at the nuclear power plant during company time. But, when Homer wins everyone’s loot Mr. Burns wants in on the action. As such, he bets SMITHERS! That’s right, if Homer wins, Smithers is his new assistant..Unfortunately, due to a laundry list of security violations, Waylon gets both himself and Homer fired and now Smithers has to live with the Simpsons. This pisses of Marge because she all of the sudden her cooking, beer fetching, and window washing skills get outclassed and outmatched by Burns’ former assistant. Speaking of Burns he goes off and hires Bart has his new assistant in place of Smithers. He gets all the perks(like no detention) and all of the chores(like clipping Burns’ toenails!)  But, when the power plant goes haywire from riots and Waylon’s Malibu Stacy Dolls get melted, everything gets but back to normal…or do they?

Stretch Dude and Clobber Girl

After being exposed to radioactive waves, Bart, Lisa, and now Maggie become super heroes! We get Stretch Dude(Bart), Clobber Girl(Lisa) and Bouncing Battle Baby(Maggie) doing battle against Snakeskin(Snake) and of course there’s no match for our fabled heroes! Well, except Marge…

This is a great buy for any Simpsons fan looking to add to their collection as it was nice going down memory lanes with the boy band fads and when superheroes were cool JUST in comics.
