“Bob’s Burgers” Movie Release Date Doesn’t Budge Post Disney-FOX Merger

Breathe.

Fans worried that Disney might make any brash changes to the future of the pending Bob’s Burgers Movie expected to hit theaters on July 17th, 2020 can breathe a sigh of relief, Disney isn’t moving from that date and intends to move forward with the feature.

Bob’s Burgers, which premiered in 2011, follows the Belcher family and their friends and rivals. Bob Belcher runs a hamburger restaurant in a seaside town, with his ever-optimistic wife, Linda, and their three children: the self-conscious Tina, goofball Gene and precocious Louise.

The season finale of Bob’s Burgers is hitting us this Sunday Night on FOX @ 830 pm ET/PT, check your local listings. The episode is called “Yes Without My Zeke” and in it when Zeke gets in trouble, the Belcher kids and Jimmy Jr. pitch in to help prevent him being sent to a disciplinary school. However, Tina tries to thwart their mission, so she can have Jimmy Jr. and his butt all to herself. Meanwhile, Randy rents out Bob’s Burgers to shoot his independent short feature film.

Damon Wayans Jr., Bobby Tisdale, David Herman, and Paul F. Tompkins guest star. Also, it sounds like two prominent Bob’s Burgers producers aren’t going anywhere as Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux have signed new overall deals with 20th Century FOX which covers the sisters duo in not only sticking around on Bob’s Burgers, but upcoming series The Great North and other as-yet-announced projects.
