Blu-Ray Review: Castlevania Season One
Invite Dracula into your home with this much-awaited release.
The surprise Netflix hit, Castlevania, has arrived on Blu-Ray to take you back to the world of Trevor Belmont and his monster-hunting escapades. If you’re someone who enjoyed the dark fantasy and beautifully grotesque animation of this series, then this is a must-have home release just for the chance to see Trevor Belmont’s adventures in glorious HD.
However, if you’re looking for something to sweeten the deal of a Blu-Ray with special features and fun home-release goodies, you might want to keep moving. The draw here is art, art, art, and that’s not always for everyone. Yet, the exquisite animation is one of the main draws to this property, and no doubt has something to offer for the discerning fan. Having never seen this series before, I was more than happy to enjoy it on Blu-Ray for my first run, but to someone who already knows what to expect, this might just be a shelf-filler.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
