Bill Plympton’s ”Cheatin” wins the Jury
Bill Plympton has been globe-trekking all over the place in support of his animated feature Cheatin’ about a newly-wed wife, who becomes her cheating husband’s mistress and it looks like all of that hard work is starting to pay off.
Deadline.com was the first to report that Cheatin’ took home the Jury Award at the 2014 Annecy Film Festival which is quite impressive for a production that started out as a Kickstarter project. That in it of itself is a rather stout accomplishment, one that YOU guys, the backers, should be proud of.
Here’s hoping we get a bunch more Plympton couch gags for the upcoming season of The Simpsons.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
