Big Boi Animated Series In Works For Vimeo

“Hotlanta Waxx” is the name of a brand-new animated series being produced by Outkast’s Big Boi for Vimeo. The rap artist has told Rolling Stone: 

“I play a retired CIA agent who buys a car wash on ancient burial grounds,” he explains, “So you got dinosaurs (on the series), zombie strippers, aliens. Anything can happen, and the s**t is f##kin’ hilarious.”

The deal with Vimeo is reported to be for $1 million and is currently in production now and will feature Big Boi voicing one of the characters. From the sounds of it, the series will premiere next year, but how much can Big Boi REALLY get out of the $1 million. That’s a kinda small budget for a full-fledged series unless if we’re just talking about five-minute shorts here.

More news is expected to be released next week about the project.
