“Batman and Harley Quinn”…The Summer Comedy Of The Season?

Unfortunately, it looks like one of the villains is lame as hell.

Batman (Kevin Conroy), Loren Lester (Nightwing), and Harley Quinn (Melissa Rauch) set the stage this summer for Batman and Harley Quinn, a new original animated DCEU film that sees Batman forced to team up with Harley Quinn to fight Floronic Man and Ivy (Paget Brewster).

The voice cast includes John DiMaggio as Sarge Steel, Kevin Michael Richardson as Floronic Man/Jason Woodrue, Robin Atkin Downes, Mindy Sterling, Rob Paulsen, Trevor Devall, and Eric Bauza.

Personally, I would’ve liked to have seen Batman team up with Swamp Thing as that character has had some sick battles with Floronic Man, but judging by the trailer, the producers are borrrowing a whole lot from that character anyway in terms of character design, powers, and doing away with “The Seeder” name.

The buddy comedy dynamic with Quinn and Batman is pretty hilarious, but against a villain that already looks lame from the get-go. Fortunately, Kevin Michael Richardson is voicing Floronic Man, so it’s not a total loss.
