“Another Period” Star Joins “Duncanville”
This is becoming one of the more impressive casts out there.
FOX is beginning to fill out it’s 13-episode new series Duncanville slated to premiere as part of the 2019/2020 season. Already confirmed is Amy Poehler who will be voicing the lead role of “Duncan”(whom you can see here) a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy with a rich fantasy life, and the people in his world.
Officially added to the cast is Another Period star/creator Riki Lindhome. Riki will voice the role of Duncan’s typically evil 12-year-old sister “Kimberly”.
Bento Box Animation is producing the series with Mike and Julie Scully and Amy Poehler as co-creators.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
