AMC Networks International Nabs Machinima Programming
Europe getting ready to ROLL OUT!
AMC Networks International has locked up a deal with Machinima that will see original programming from the online brand to appear on SVOD in both Portugal and Spain via AMC Networks Iberia.
Programming includes Transformers: Combiner Wars which is set to stream in America this July.
According to Comicbook.com, the series starts 40 years after the great earth war, after both Autobots and Decepticons have returned to Cybertron and come to a delicate truce. Optimus Prime and Megatron are long since gone, and Cybertron has new leaders. Now those leaders have preserve the peace while dealing with a new type of transformer, one that is able to assemble with others into a much more powerful form, known as combiners.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
