Amazon to offer streaming TV service?
There was a report that came out from the Wall Street Journal the other day that Amazon has been talking with big conglomerates with the possibility that it wants to launch its own online pay TV service. Amazon has since told EW that they have no plans in doing so and that they continue to develop original content for its Prime service:
“We continue to build selection for Prime Instant Video and create original shows at Amazon Studios, but we are not planning to license television channels or offer a pay-TV service,”.
As of now, I think the Amazon Prime service is my least favorite when compared to Hulu and Netflix due to the fact they know nothing about animated comedies, but if this means we can get more competition to cable providers then I’m all for it.
Your thoughts?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
