Amazon is also working us up some ‘Sassy Gay Samurai’

And he’s gotta unicorn sidekick, too!!!

So, Amazon has a TON of pitches in the works, a lot of which you can see on their Instant Video list, but they’ve been pretty particular in named those they actually opt into development. Their newest optioned animated entry is called Sassy Gay Samurai and its being put together by Brad Combest of whom worked on both Wreck It Ralph and Robot Chicken. So far, the best part of this show is the synopsis which reads like this:

Sassy Gay Samurai, his unicorn roommate Gary, and their across-the-hall neighbor John Buffalo, battle supervillains across time to save the world, and sometimes Christmas.

This already has me hooked and I hope we get to see it sooner rather than later. It will be interesting to see if Brad will hearken back to his Robot Chicken days and call in some Stoopid help to put together the show, or if he goes in an entirely different way. No word yet on when this show will premier nor who will star in it. But yea, I REALLY wanna see this show. Like bad…like really bad. But, only if its all the way animated.
