Adult Swim Renews ‘Rick and Morty’ for Season 3!
Even though the second season of Rick and Morty just premiered a few weeks ago, Adult Swim has already granted the show a third season, the network announced in a release.
We had the Dan Harmon & Justin Roiland series stumbling a bit out of the gate with a pretty good season two kick-off, and a slightly disappointing follow-up, but last Sunday’s installment put Rick and Morty back on track. With the numbers solid, this is a perfect opportunity to re-up the show for another year.
“It’s an honor to see Rick and Morty join the exclusive club of shows with over nineteen episodes,” Harmon said. “It’s time to demand that the network allow us to draw the characters going to Hawaii.”
“I am blown away by the seemingly instant success of Rick and Morty. I look forward to continuing their adventures!” Roiland added.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
