Mila Kunis says that Seth MacFarlane “Isn’t Even There Anymore” when it comes to ‘Family Guy’
This explains a lot.
Earlier this morning, Family Guy mainstay Mila Kunis was in promoting her new movie Bad Moms which comes out I don’t know when. However, I did comprehend one major admission when asked by Howard Stern about working with Seth MacFarlane on the animated comedy that has been around for 15 seasons on FOX.
According to Mila, Seth “Isn’t Even There Anymore” when it comes to production the long-running animated series. And while she had glowing things to say about Seth when it came to her talking about how she got the Ted role, I would think this admission is not shocking to most but should be noted as the likely reasoning to the decline in quality during the course of the show’s run.
Let’s face it, Family Guy isn’t written like it was in the old days where it seemed as though Seth put a ton of heart and soul into show. Nowadays, while getting better, Family Guy really is a shell of its former self. Seth not being there, and the crazy number of executive producers billed during the show’s credits that reads as long as scripture, it’s suffice to say the right chefs aren’t in this kitchen.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
