Review: Regular Show “Lame Lockdown”

Mordecai and Rigby are told to stay put instead of going to see an interview featuring rock band Mercury Heat. The two end up going anyway thereby sticking it WAY up the collective ass of Benson and Langer and it ends up being the best interview ever because the Channel 6 dude gets removed as the interviewer and in his place are Mordecai and Rigby. Mercury Heat are so enamored by the interviewers that they invite Mordecai and Rigby to party only to drop them off at the dome. Benson eventually finds out that Mordecai and Rigby left and is on the prowl set to fire the two park employees, but a run-in with a monster and Benson sticking up to Langer allow cooler heads to prevail. However, we learn that Langer might have bigger plans in store.
Our Take
Meh. I don’t even like some of the dome-arc plot holes. Again, being able to leave the dome at will seems like a lost cause to me, but that twist ending may have opened up some queries about how this season wraps.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
