Review: LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu “Infamous”
Spoilers Below
Training, playing games, all seems to be going right for the Ninjas these days. That is until the crew has to track down Clouse whom stumbles onto a genie-esque Nadakhan and gets himself thrown into a tea pot while the Djinn walks into Ninjago City looking for the last remnants of the Sky Pirates. The only way Nadakhan can get a hold of the pirates is if he has a realm crystal currently held on to by Wu. Meanwhile, the Ninja get framed for a bunch of crimes that they didn’t commit but now they have to split up so they don’t get caught JUST as Wu is introduced to Nadakhan.
Our Take
Hey, let’s take Aladdin and mix it with the Power Rangers! That’s what happened here, and it doesn’t work. The plot is convoluted and it looks like we have a lot going on here perhaps a little too early on in the show’s sixth season. There’s actually nothing here that makes me want to keep watching.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
