Review: Bob’s Burgers – “Lice Things Are Lice”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Tina volunteers to help the school nurse, Nurse Liz, in order to get her Thundergirls badge. As kids wander in and out of the nurse’s office, Liz laments the fact that none of the kids are actually sick. Louise just wants to get out of a pop quiz, Gene wants to get out of climbing the rope in gym class, and Tammy wants her nails filed. However, when Tammy walks in wearing a new hat and scratching her head. Liz immediately declares Liz infected with lice. By this time, all of the kids in the nurse’s office have tried on Tammy’s hat (meaning they are infected) and Tammy has taken a ton of selfies with everyone leaning in (meaning they are infected too). Liz decides that these are super lice that parents can’t handle so she puts her office on lock-down. Then she decides that the only cure is to shave everyone’s heads. The kids run away from crazy Liz. Tammy and Louise end up in the library, where Louise finds a medical book. Louise takes them back to the nurse’s office and reveals that Tammy doesn’t have lice, she only has dandruff. But Liz points out that Tammy could have both. That is when Tina realizes that Liz isn’t wearing her glasses. Liz couldn’t actually diagnose anything since she couldn’t see anything.
At the burger joint, Bob purchased new seats for the stools. Since they are brand new, the seats make a farting noise whenever anyone sits down. When Bob is told that a widow wants to bring the family over after her husband’s funeral, he insists on getting the stools fixed as soon as possible. The only way to do that is to sit on them over and over. Bob recruits a few of his friends to come over to sit on the stools. Thankfully, there are no farting stools when the widow arrives. There are only farting widows.
Our Take
While this episode wasn’t as funny as usual, there were a lot of laugh out loud moments. It can be difficult to get all of the kids to be their comedy best at the same time and this shows it. Tina and Louise got the funniest moments while Gene sort of languished in the background. He had a few lines but not nearly as many as he should. But at least there were farts. Those are always funny.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
