Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week 6: Dolphins vs Titans (2015)

 

I took the underdog role in picking the Raiders to win last week, which unfortunately, now puts me under .500 winning percentage. Carl’s looking good at 3-2, so let’s see what we’ve got going down this week. Dolphins vs Titans is probably the match up that would happen more often if the divisions were organized correctly by geography, but in terms of future (not this season) playoff chances, the two teams couldn’t be further apart. Here’s what Carl has to say about the situation:

Miami Dolphins

I think a lot of people had the Dolphins making gains this season in the AFC East, but after firing their coach a couple of weeks back, Former Cowboys Tight End and Bill Parcells player Dan Campbell is at the helm and trying to put together a program that actually plays football. Unfortunately, a lot of the shit that he’s teaching the ‘phins now, should have been implemented in the offseason. Ryan Tannehill needs a rebound game after being embarrassed by his ‘practice-squad’ rules. I actually think you will see progress from this team, it just won’t be this week.

 

Tennessee Titans

The Titans could be good…next year. They need upgrades at the defensive line/linebacker positions as well as at the wide receiver positions before they could be seen as threats. But the AFC South will be bad for the next five years, so logistically, they could sneak in as a wild card the next season or so.
