Comics Review: Regular Show #13
Eileen decides to have a day for herself while the rest of her friends go and get donuts. She goes to the park with a rock, throws it, then heads off to meet with Rigby. She gives him something, but what is it? Wel” find out next week.
‘‘Mordecai and–”
Mordecai and Rigby check out a make-out tree. Mordecai tries to initial his and Margaret’s names, but to no avail as the tree comes alive and goes berserk. Thankfully, Mordecai fixes the inscription (though slightly altered) turning the tree back to normal.
Unfortunately, the coolest thing about the Regular Show comics aren’t the stories, rather it’s the artwork. Fans of the show should appreciate different depictions of all of their favorite Regular Show characters , especially if they are fans of brilliant artwork. The Eileen centered short looked VERY Calvin & Hobbes inspired, but that’s a good thing. A decent issue to pick up as we get going on a new story arc and finish on a Margaret-esque story.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
