Shorts Review: 16-Bit High School “Mega Kid Brings a Blaster to School”
This short is brought to you by the Second Amendment, and Jimmy approved that message. Just watch the video.
It’s gotten to that point where Mega Kid is going to do desperate things to be accepted. This kid blew up a teacher’s cancer treatment robot, therefore denying treatment to the cancer wing in the teacher’s house. Now, he’s hit a new level of crazy.
Spoilers!
Jimmy and Epona are looking inside Mega Kid’s bag, and they are admiring the new object inside. Maria walks by, and tells the gang that this weapon shouldn’t be in school, and they can get in big trouble. Jimmy goes Fox News on Maria, saying that it’s an American’s right to carry arms. They try to get out of the other’s hands, when it drops and goes off, killing Mega Kid. He comes back, and Jimmy tells him that if someone hassles him, he should tell them that Mega Kid is a patriot, and a hero. Then Mega Kid should shoot them. Principal Brain tells Maria that the weapon is legal, just for self defense.
They get to lunch, and Jimmy breaks out a Needler. Mega Kid knocks into Maria’s lunch box, and a fire flower popped out. One of the other students bumped into her, and she incinerated it. Six seconds later, the lunch yard devolved into a shootout, where Jimmy is standing on top of a table, drinking his soda. He wish he brought more guns, but he REALLY wanted that soda. Meanwhile, everyone is shooting the crap out of each other, including something that resembles a cyber Gizmo from Gremlins. Mega Kid kills someone from Contra, and uses his weapon to blow up the whole school.
This is a great look into why kids shouldn’t carry Nerf weapons. Once someone gets hit with one, it’s all out chaos. Watching the end of this, I was surprised by how many cameos there were. I tried to get them all, but I lost them all. One of the funnier parts was when Maria was in Principal Brain’s office, and the Metroid kept trying to get to Maria’s head. The fact that it was scared off so easily made me chuckle. Check out the video below, because it’s a hilarious take on gun control!

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
