New animated ‘Mr. Bean’ series in the works!

According to Comedy UK and Broadcast Magazine, Rowan Atkinson, better known to the masses as “Mr. Bean” is working on a new iteration of his Mr. Bean animated series with Endemol Beyond which will result in a new run of short-form videos, for initial distribution via the internet and possible television broadcast this autumn.

Make no mistake, this isn’t bringing back the old Mr. Bean animated series from earlier this decade, this is an entirely new deal with a whole host of different developers. The animated clips are expected to be launched on the Mr. Bean Youtube channel.

The new Mr. Bean series hasn’t OFFICIALLY been picked up, but from the looks of it it’s close. Check out a clip below of the old-school Bean series to get a taste of what to expect.
