Spoilers Below

As you may recall, I previously reviewed another Sports Friends episode that featured Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. What’s different this time? Well, for one, they’re in a car. And that’s always cool, right? Also Chris Bosh is in it. I’m not sure if that really makes it cooler.

The episode began with LeBron free styling, followed by Wade – but when Bosh’s turn came up, he didn’t rap. (Instead there was just some kick ass beat that I sincerely hope was actually someone beat boxing, because it was far out.) When his friends questioned him, he got defensive, even though they said they were just concerned with his happiness levels.

Turns out Bosh just didn’t feel like rapping, because he’s simply not happy all the time. Apparently winning a championship, though great, just didn’t feel as good as Bosh thought it would, but he doesn’t feel fulfilled. LeBron then tried to cheer him up, but ended up going into an angry rant as he gradually begins accelerating. Wade snapped him out of it, and tried to put on the radio to change the mood, but, it was only a depressing news story. The episode ended with Wade stating at least he was happy with his championships.

I don’t know what Bosh’s (and to a lesser extent, LeBron’s) problem is. Winning stuff is great. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a very competitive guy, but when I do win something, I cherish it – be it the biggest victory or the smallest success. One time when I was 15 and working at Dunkin Donuts, I won $5 when a co-worker bet me I couldn’t eat a large coffee cup full of lemon filling. I did it, and dammit if I didn’t hold my head up high in victory after that – when I wasn’t bent over a trashcan. To this day I still can’t eat or smell a lemon donut without both vomiting and getting an erection.

Anyway, despite this lack of an ability to relate, I loved this episode of Sports Friends. In fact, this might be [pauses to pull down banner] the Best Sports Friends Episode Ever! I loved the back-and-forth between the three teammates, I loved the comments LeBron made (especially the one about going bald), and – as previously mentioned – I really loved the beats. If you think I’m overreacting, hit up the 50-second mark in the video. Sick.
