Shorts Review: L/Studio – Friendship All-Stars, Episode 5 – Sleepover
Spoilers Below
On this edition of Friendship All-Stars, everyone who has been a cinematic Batman in the last 30 or so years are having a sleepover at Val Kilmer’s house. Yep, that’s right…Val Kilmer. However, the Batman Forever star is rather quiet this evening in favor of Michael Keaton whom is just bouncing off the walls at the fact that he’s sleeping next to THE George Clooney. For the most part, George just puts up with Michael’s silly shenanigans, but it certainly gets weird at the end with maybe Mike showing off some of his ulterior motives. While ALL of this is happening, Christian Bale is dangling from the ceiling. He drops and ends up in someone’s pee…but who does the pee belong to? Sounds like the World’s Greatest Detective should be on the case!
Let’s face it. When it comes to sleep overs they are kinda weird, but imagine if it was with four dudes that had a lot in common….like the fact that you all played the same titular character. How is it that Michael Keaton got pegged as the flamboyant one in this piece? To be honest I thought the short was hysterically written and the concept was the best one yet. Like I want to see sequels with Adam West and Ben Affleck, but really this was the closest the series could have gotten to a short that could have been featured in Robot Chicken. That’s high praise.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
