Review: Bounty Hunters – Love Thy Brother’s Sister

Jeff and Larry are taking some time off so Bill is in charge of the shop. Larry and Jeff start off their staycations by running into Larry’s sister at a local bar. Turns out Larry’s sister Lori used to be gross, but is much hotter now so she’s getting all this extra attention from the locals of which Larry doesn’t seem to appreciate. Later on, Jeff hooks up with Lori, so what’s a guy to do?? That said, both sides agree to keep it a secret.

With Bill running the place, his only job is to bring already captured bounty Clay Murphy down the station to be arraigned. Of course Bill screws it up and ends up and loses the felon! Jeff and Larry unexpectedly show up to the station a couple of days later, but when Jeff asks for the paper work on Larry’s arrest, Bill has to dart and make another attempt to catch the suspect. Thankfully, Lisa decides to help out and the duo catch up to the culprit at the nearby creek but end up burning down the forest instead.

Jeff returns to the station yet again and tells Bill about him hooking up with Lori and although it’s the wrong thing to do he continues to do so. Eventually, Larry catches Jeff whilst taking a shit and he actually takes it pretty well. With Bill and Lisa taking part in a stakeout, Stacy points out to Jeff that Lori looks and acts quite a bit like Larry which starts to fuck with Jeff’s head. Fortunately, Lori breaks up with Jeff and Bill and Lisa capture Clay. We also learn that Larry hooked up with Jeff’s sister…BOOM! Oh yea, and Jeff and Larry knew about Bill losing Clay.

I’m just now noticing that all of the actual bounty story lines usually involve the guys seeing their bounty early on in the episode, screwing up the initial capture, only to finally nab whomever it is at the end. I also don’t think this show works all that well when we get multiple story lines and it’s even worse when Jeff is involved in one that Friends did 15 years ago.
