Review: Teen Titans GO! ‘Matched’

 Spoilers Below

Cyborg created a program so that the heroes can see who their ideal matches should be. Starfire’s match is Aqua Man, Beasts’s match is Raven despite the fact that the two never really had anything in common. Raven isn’t amused, but Beast is all about giving them a shot. The green one tries time and time again to get Raven’s attention and nothing seems to work, but soon she starts to feel for him and decides to give Beast a chance and soon the duo get married.

Robin is trying to do also become a match with Starfire despite the fact that Cyborg says otherwise. To help counteract, Robin dresses up as Aqua Man, but it doesn’t work. The poor guy even goes out and buys a shark tank, but that doesn’t work either.

Soon Cyborg comes forward and admits that his computer has a whole bunch of bugs that need to be worked on and as such everyone’s matches are mis-informed.

A rather novel idea for a premise, double it, and you have tonight’s episode. That said, I certainly enjoyed this week’s episode as it was certainly better than the turd that was laid out last week. I thought the way Raven used her powers this episode was wildly original and furthermore Robin with trying to gain the attention of Starfire. At the end of the day its your classic ‘dude trying to impress chick’ story line, but it was a good one.
