Our Take

Picking up where the previous episode, Johnny, Gyro, and Mountain Tim arrive at the checkpoint town, where they encounter Mr. Oye, a mysterious and dangerous figure with ties to Gyro’s homeland. As his intentions become clearer, the group finds itself caught up in another unpredictable Stand encounter that puts their abilities and teamwork to the test.

The rest of the proceedings is an entertaining Stand battle filled with creative tactics and unpredictable twists. It’s great to see Johnny and Gyro fighting alongside each other, while the music remains excellent as always. Although the animation feels inconsistent at times, several action sequences stand out, and Mr. Oye’s unusual design makes him a memorable opponent. Meanwhile, questions surrounding Mountain Tim and Gyro’s mysterious past leave plenty of intrigue for what comes next.

Overall, this is another enjoyable episode that captures the bizarre creativity and intensity of *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure*. While some animation choices could have been stronger, the fight remains engaging, and Johnny and Gyro’s developing partnership is a definite highlight. With more mysteries surrounding Gyro and the ongoing race, the episode provides plenty of reasons to look forward to the next installment.
