Brian and Stewie Take Over the Underworld in Family Guy Halloween Special Trailer “Happy Hell-o-ween”

Hulu has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming Family Guy 2026 Halloween Special, titled “Happy Hell-o-ween,” and it looks like Quahog’s favorite duo is finally getting their cosmic due. Scheduled to hit Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on October 5, 2026, the new holiday special sends Brian and Stewie straight to eternal damnation.

Paying for 24 Seasons of Sins

The chaotic premise picks up with Brian and Stewie heading toward the Block Island Ferry Halloween Masquerade Ball before taking a detour straight into the underworld. Rather than a run-of-the-mill bad day, the pair end up in the actual fiery depths of Hell to answer for two and a half decades’ worth of bad behavior and questionable morals. After managing to thoroughly annoy the Devil himself, Brian and Stewie somehow wind up running the place, taking over the day-to-day operations of the underworld. Emmy-winning actor Kieran Culkin joins the voice roster to guest star as the Devil.

A Continuing Tradition of Hulu Holiday Event Specials

Following the success of recent holiday-focused releases, “Happy Hell-o-ween” continues the trend of bringing standalone, eventized Family Guy specials directly to streaming services ahead of broadcast windows.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see how Brian and Stewie handle their new managerial roles in the underworld when “Happy Hell-o-ween” premieres globally on October 5.
