English Dub Review: Trigun Stargaze “Good Bye, My Friend”
Overview:
Vash and crew are attacked. Vash is ultimately kidnapped, and Wolfwood follows. But is he there to rescue Vash or to watch what happens?
Our Take:
I’m not too proud to admit that I don’t know if I understand what’s going on and where certain characters’ loyalties lie. For all his boasting and general dickishness I assumed that Wolfwood was a friend to Vash, but maybe I was wrong. It’s too early to tell, but when Vash is captured, he follows and watches while Vash is used to awaken Knives. Since they were just talking about how Knives being brought back would be really bad, I can’t help but wonder why he would sit back and watch. I’m hoping they came up with some plan that we weren’t privy to because otherwise it looks like our hero’s got mopped up.
If I remember correctly, plants are a power source but they’re also somehow alive and can become humanoid. That is what Vash and Knives are if I recall, and that’s why they have weird powers. Turns out the more they use these powers the darker their hair turns. Think of it like an opposite super saiyan. Based on a conversation with a doctor, I’m led to believe that once their hair is completely dark then they run out of power and die. Again… I have no idea if that’s true or not.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
