English Dub Review: Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You “Feelings That Won’t Go Away”

Overview:

The seniors graduate and celebrate their last day at the pool, leaving behind heartfelt messages.

Our Take(Spoilers):

So either Mizuho and Kizuki dated for like seven years, or she’s dated someone else. Mizuho hasn’t had a boyfriend for three years, and she hasn’t heard from Kizuki in three years, so I’m going to guess she’s only dated him. Otherwise, he would make a bigger deal about being her “last” boyfriend. The pace with which we’re getting information is maddening, and it isn’t doing the mystery the story is trying to play off any favors either. We know that Kizuki is head over heels for Mizuho, so why would they break up, and why would he not speak to her for three years? But that story takes place between high school and 2030, so I don’t think we’ll get answers anytime soon.

Whatever happened, it had to be bad because when Shuugo saw Kizuki dragging Mizuho away, he not only stepped in but practically assaulted Kizuki. The episode ends with one or both of them falling down a flight of stairs. I’m sure that one of them will end up hurt and will get some time alone with Mizuho. Normally, I like shows that take place in two different time periods, but the way this show handles it is sloppy and detracts from any enjoyment that might have been there.
