English Dub Review: My Hero Academia: Vigilantes “A Rational Man”
Overview:
Koichi’s in double trouble, facing down a villain who might clobber him, and Eraser Head, who might arrest him!
Our Take:
This show is fast becoming a favorite for me. I was wondering what would fill the My Hero Academia hole in my heart. I’ll admit I was skeptical that Vigilantes would, but it’s almost starting to be better than the main series for me. That might sound sacriligious, but while it started a little slow, it has taken off from there, and the characters are one of the main reasons I’m enjoying it so much.
Aizawa is a character we are familiar with as a teacher at UA, but seeing him in his element brings a different aspect to the character. I think the focus on street-level heroes is what makes this show so fun. I also like how the legality of using your quirk against others is brought more into focus. When Koichi hears someone mention self-defense as their excuse for using their powers, he jumps right in and explains to Aizawa to try to avoid trouble. Luckily, I think Aizawa is nice enough not be mean to someone who basically saved his life. I hope we get a lot more of this show now.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
