English Dub Review: You and I Are Polar Opposites “First Date!”
Overview:
After their confessions of love are successful, Suzuki and Tani begin dating. Suzuki wants to impress Tani on their first date, a date she’s wished for for so long, but she feels like she just keeps spinning her wheels.
Our Take(Spoilers):
I’m fresh off writing my review for Hana-Kimi, and these two shows could not be more different. You and I Are Polar Opposites has done more in two episodes than most romance anime do in a whole season. Suzuki and Tani are already a couple and even hold hands! At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a kiss in the next couple of episodes. I love it when a couple gets together early, but even I can admit that it makes telling an interesting story tough. There needs to be conflict in other avenues without any sort of love triangle, I hope.
For this show to be successful, I think what happens with any side couples is going to be very important. So far, the secondary characters have been enjoyable, but I’ve loved how much screentime our main couple has received. This show looked so dumb to me, but now it looks like it’s heading for a spot in my list of best romance anime I’ve ever seen.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
