FOX Announces Winter 2025/2026 Animation Domination Schedule
FOX has cemented its commitment to its iconic Sunday night “Animation Domination” block by unveiling its midseason premiere schedule, which is anchored by the return of its powerhouse animated series and marks a major homecoming for one of the longest-running comedies on television.
The network is leveraging the enduring popularity of its animation lineup, most notably the anticipated return of American Dad! for its 20th season. The show, which spent a decade airing new episodes on TBS, is set to rejoin the FOX schedule as a key midseason entry in 2026. This move secures the sitcom’s place back at its original network home, joining its sister series from co-creator Seth MacFarlane.
The long-term health of the entire Animation Domination block is also secured, following an unprecedented deal that renewed the network’s flagship animated series for four seasons each. This massive renewal package ensures that The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, and the newly returned American Dad! will remain on the FOX lineup through the 2028-2029 broadcast season.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
