Our Take
No Old B&B’s this week just the OG series which is perfectly fine with me as we get two parts all about the titular characters trying to earn an extra buck…which is admirable for anyone not named Beavis and Butt-Head.
The better of the two quarter-hours is “Nacho Shake” and the whole dream sequence the boys come up with should they make a ton of money on their food invention that would absolutely work in real life. Is it on the technical level of Do America’s infamous tripping bit? No. But it does feature Metallica and that’s all I needed.
Cutaways this week featured the always reliable Tom Anderson and a mockery of some shitty music video and Slapfight which I actually find entertaining but with the amount of times Beavis and Butt-Head have slapped each other over the years I’m surprised they didn’t do something bigger with that premise.
“Depositors” is a very “paint-by-numbers” sperm donation bit featuring a bank that is clearly not in the present times.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
