English Dub Review: A Couple of Cuckoos “It’s Ours to Build!”

Ai shows up in Nagi’s and Erika’s hotel room.

Our Take(Spoilers):

This episode was only slightly better than the episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend I reviewed today. You know it’s bad when even Nagi is out here with a simping mindset. But when Ai asks him whose panties he’d rather see, it almost gets him into trouble. But before he can answer, Erika stops her fake sleeping act and stops the debate in its tracks. Somehow, this led to Ai and Erika bonding and realizing that they could be great friends, and they decided to work together on an escape plan.

Ai is going to put Erika up for a week somewhere away from Nagi. So, where is Nagi going to stay? Turns out he’s going to be staying with Hiro at her shrine, only she told him to never talk to her again, remember? She helps him get a bath and a kimono, then has him dig a giant hole, which leads him to think she’s about to kill him. Instead, she surprises him and us by asking him to marry her. What is going to happen now that she’s thrown this wrench into the works? Nagi would probably jump at the chance previously, but with how it was left as a cliffhanger, I bet something will happen.
