English Dub Review: Dr. Stone Science Future “What I Once Sought To Destroy”
Overview:
Suika is in charge of making sure Senku’s plan works, but her kindness becomes an obstacle.
Our Take:
The last time I watched Dr. Stone was back during the first season. I think I might have filled in and reviewed one episode here or there, but it’s been a while since then as well. Last I remember, Senku and Tsukasa were at war, and it seems like things have come a long way since then. Tsukasa put his life on the line to help Kohaku. There were a lot of things I was confused about and needed to try and catch up on, so if you hadn’t watched Dr. Stone in a while, I don’t recommend this episode. However, I imagine most people aren’t in my shoes, and for what it’s worth, I still enjoyed the episode even if I was a bit confused.
I think I need to get back into Dr. Stone because this was pretty cool, and that was with me understanding less than half of it. There were a few reasons I didn’t stick with Dr. Stone, but the main one was that I didn’t think it would be completed, and I would have to read the manga. But now it’s starting to look like I might have been wrong because I think it might get fully adapted. I’m glad I got to fill in and watch this episode because I think I will start watching again.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
